What I Do

The Work

I

Traditional

Bold outlines, solid colour fills, classic imagery. Built to age well and look strong for a lifetime. Anchors, roses, eagles, daggers — done right.

III

Blackwork

Geometric patterns, tribal-influenced shapes, deep solid fills. Striking, graphic and bold. Statement pieces that command attention.

The Artist

Who's Holding the Needle

I started tattooing in London — one of the most competitive scenes in the country — before heading back north and working alongside artists from completely different backgrounds and disciplines. Every shop, every artist, every style added something.

That cross-pollination is what shapes the work I do now. Whether you're after clean traditional lines, a flowing black and grey portrait, or bold blackwork geometry — I've worked in every lane and I bring that range to every consultation.

My inspiration comes from nature, music and the people sitting in my chair. Your idea is always the starting point. I just make it permanent.

Common Questions

FAQ

How do I book?
DM on Facebook or fill in the booking form above. Once we've discussed your idea, you'll pay a £20 deposit via PayPal or bank transfer to confirm your slot.
How much will my tattoo cost?
The minimum charge is £50 for small pieces. Larger work is quoted at consultation — I'll give you a clear price before any commitment. Full day sessions are £200 and are ideal for large or complex pieces.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes. Cover-ups are a specialism — whether it's an old piece that's faded, something you just want gone, or a rework of existing ink. Send a photo at consultation so I can give you an honest assessment of what's possible.
Does it hurt?
Honestly? Yes, some placements more than others. Ribs, hands, feet and the ditch of the elbow tend to be more intense. Outer arm, thigh, calf and back are generally more manageable. I'll talk you through it at consultation if you're worried.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Eat a good meal beforehand, stay hydrated, get a good night's sleep. Wear or bring clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before. Don't apply moisturiser or numbing cream on the day unless agreed with me in advance.
What's your aftercare advice?
I'll give you a full aftercare sheet on the day. In short: keep it clean, keep it moisturised (unscented lotion), avoid direct sunlight, don't pick or scratch, and don't soak it in water (no swimming or baths) for at least two weeks.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice. Deposits are non-refundable on cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows. If you give proper notice and need to reschedule, your deposit can move with you to the new date.
What ID do you accept?
You must be 18 or over. Acceptable ID includes passport, driving licence, or any PASS-scheme proof of age card. If you look young, I'll ask. No ID, no tattoo — it's that simple.
Can I bring a friend?
One person for support is usually fine — check with me when booking. Due to space and focus, I prefer the studio isn't crowded. Children are not permitted in the studio during sessions.
Are your practices hygienic?
Absolutely. Single-use sterile needles every session, gloves worn throughout, and all industry hygiene standards are followed. If you have any concerns, feel free to ask at any point — I'm an open book on this.
